Kristin Koch is a multi-platform brand-builder, storyteller, and content and digital strategist. She specializes in brand consulting, digital marketing, and editorial projects, covering fashion, beauty, travel, design, health, parenting, and lifestyle.

Koch is the founder and voice behind website and brand, Closetful of Clothes, where Koch shares style advice and outfit inspiration, home decor, travel and her motherhood journey.

Most recently, Koch served as the Editor in Chief of Seventeen Magazine, where she oversaw content and editorial operations for all of the brand’s various communication channels and projects. During her tenure at Seventeen, Koch helped transition a 70-year-old print magazine into the leading brand for young millenials and Gen Z with a focus on digital- and- social-first content. Koch represented the brand at events and media appearances, and oversaw brand extensions including clothing and home decor lines, e-commerce and affiliate marketing, and partnerships with Amazon, Apple News, Netflix and more. Koch also served as the founder and president of Hearst’s Parents Group and is a member of the American Society of Magazine Editors and board member of the Sustainable Media Center.

Koch has held editorial and managerial positions at Glamour, Vanity Fair, The Knot and Buzz Media, and has contributed to a range of publications and outlets, including Self, Health, Woman’s Day, Time, Weight Watchers, Cosmopolitan, & more. She has also served as a consultant for fashion start-up Hukkster and social media start-up, Grapevine.

Additionally, Koch is the co-author of The Knot’s Ultimate Guide To Wedding In The Real World, and Growing Up: Everything You Need to Know About Your Changing Body Puberty (Discovery Girls). Kristin has made regular appearances as a guest expert both on national and local television, and has been quoted in numerous print and online publications. 

Koch attended Colgate University. She currently resides in Connecticut with her husband, three young children, and golden doodle Dakota.
